Outage or Inage?
OUTAGE
Outage is the measurement of the "air space" in the
tank between the top of the tank and the top of the liquid. The
"Outage" Tape zero point will be at the center of the snap. When the
Plumb Bob is attached you are adding either 6" or 12" of length,
depending on the type of bob. The outage bob will not have a pointed tip, it
will have a flat end.
INAGE
Inage is the measurement of the "liquid level" in the
tank. The "Inage" Tape zero point will be at the tip of the Plumb Bob.
